Brad Writes Worlds

“Myth, memory, and the collapse of certainty.”

Brad Slade – Author Biography

Brad Slade writes worlds. Some burned. Some survived. All remembered.

A Gen X survivor of silence, grief, and VHS static, Brad crafts stories that dig into the marrow, fiction that bleeds, essays that punch, fanfics that dare to finish what others abandoned. His works span mythic fantasy, science fiction, post-collapse memoir, and reimagined continuations of epic sagas like A Song of Ice and Fire and Stargate.

His nonfiction book, Help Yourself… Or Don’t, is a raw, poetic field manual for anyone raised on sitcoms and sarcasm, searching for truth in the wreckage of burnout and broken promises. It’s not a self-help book… it’s a last-chance mixtape for those still standing.

Whether he’s reconstructing Westeros, reviving the Stargate program, or building entirely new realities from the ruins of this one, Brad writes with purpose: not to escape, but to confront.

📍 Based in Texas. Fueled by coffee, mixtapes, and righteous frustration.

A Dream of Spring – Now Live and Free to Read

After over 470,000 words, 93 chapters, and the weight of a myth that never quite landed… A Dream of Spring is finally complete.

This is my final installment in the A Song of Ice and Fire continuation trilogy, picking up where The Winds of Winter left off, forging through the Long Night and beyond. It is not fanservice. It is not algorithm bait. It is a blood-soaked elegy for the Starks, the dragons, and the world that was promised.

Poetic. Mythic. Relentless. This is how it ends… not with a whimper, but with wolves howling in the frost.

Companion to The Winds of Winter and my fan conclusion to saga of ASOIAF

What You’ll Find Inside:

  • The Wall falls. The dead rise. But it’s not the end you’re expecting.
  • Bran, Arya, Sansa, Jon, and Dany walk through fire, memory, prophecy, and war.
  • Aegon, Nymeria, Tyrion, and the last wolves of the North carry the future in ash and snow.
  • And when the dragons return, they return for all of us.

If Winds was the roar, Dream is the reckoning.

Help me spread the word. This isn’t just an ending… it’s the one we’ve been waiting for.
